Republicans are starting to throw their hats in the ring for the 2024 election. But one is making Soros lose his mind.
And George Soros just revealed who he fears the most in 2024.
George Soros has spent decades and billions of dollars fundamentally changing the United States.
Thanks to his bankrolling of Leftist politicians and DAs, America is on its way to becoming the socialist “utopia” that the Democrats have always dreamed of.
The only thing that can put the breaks on the cultural and political shift left is for Americans to vote Democrats out of office.
Soros knows this – that’s why he spends millions on political ads and campaigns to protect his chosen pals.
But with the 2024 presidential election right around the corner, George Soros just showed his hand on who he hopes doesn’t run.
Billionaire George Soros, the Democratic Party’s top donor, said this week at an event that he fears Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis in a presidential run in 2024.
Soros implied on Thursday at the Munich Security Conference that DeSantis was the superior politician in the expected field of 2024 Republican presidential contenders, despite the fact that DeSantis has not launched his candidacy.
Soros stated that he hopes DeSantis and Trump have a brutal primary fight, that DeSantis will win, and that Trump’s ego will be so bruised by losing in the primaries that he will start a third-party campaign to prevent DeSantis from becoming president.
“My hope for 2024 is that Trump and Governor DeSantis of Florida will slug it out for the Republican nomination,” Soros said. “Trump has turned into a pitiful figure, continually bemoaning his loss in 2020. Big Republican donors are abandoning him in droves.”
“DeSantis is shrewd, ruthless, and ambitious,” Soros continued. “He is likely to be the Republican candidate. This could induce Trump, whose narcissism has turned into a disease, to run as a third-party candidate. That would lead to a Democratic landslide and force the Republican Party to reform itself. But perhaps I am maybe just a little bit biased.”
Special thanks to the "Soros endorses DeSantis" grift is in order, for they have alerted us to the likelihood that Soros will provide financial assistance to a Trump 3rd party run. That is the sole takeaway from Soros' remarks on the 2024 race. pic.twitter.com/1JfZzTvyqW

DeSantis and Soros have often clashed since DeSantis was elected governor of Florida in 2018.
Soros’ Open Society Foundations provided $1.3 million to activists who sued DeSantis last year for transporting illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
Another Soros-backed organization, which is accused of breaking federal tax regulations, has also sued the DeSantis administration for transporting illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
DeSantis has railed against Soros for supporting district attorneys across the country.
“Leftist politicians and Soros-backed prosecutors are enabling chaos and undermining the law enforcement profession by letting violent criminals walk free with hardly a slap on the wrist,” DeSantis said while campaigning against Charlie Crist in 2022, a race DeSantis won by more than 19 points. “Unlike my opponent and the Soros-funded prosecutors whose pro-crime ideology has made once-great cities unlivable, I’m not beholden to anyone but the people of Florida.”
“My opponent’s extreme agenda and admiration of Soros-backed policies only fuel my resolve to fight woke tyranny and Keep Florida Free,” DeSantis added.
DeSantis also removed Soros-backed State Attorney Andrew Warren from office for “neglecting his duties as he pledges not to uphold the laws of the state.”
DeSantis also launched ads targeting Soros on Spanish-language radio stations in Florida that Soros purchased in an effort to enhance Latino support for Democratic candidates.
Despite this, some Trump supporters, including former Arizona Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake, falsely claimed on social media that Soros endorsed DeSantis. This comes after DeSantis supported Lake during her failed governorship bid.

Christina Pushaw, a top aide to DeSantis, responded to the false attacks by writing on Twitter: “Resorting to fabricated propaganda and false smear attacks is the clearest indication that someone does not have any legitimate points of criticism.”
